Battlegrounds: King of the Court, 2005

Hosted by NBA 2-year veteran LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers, this is the third installment of the Battleground series. This season, teams, instead of individuals, from two big cities in the U.S. play against each other to project which city produced the best team in the country. Illinois native Andre Iguodala of the Philadelphia 76ers assembles the team from Chicago and New York native Ben Gordon of the Chicago Bulls assembles the team from New York.

The documentary is a 6 part series (7 avi parts here though, 230MB or so each).

Katrina Relief Game

3 years ago early September was held in Houston a charity game organized by Kenny Smith for the victims of hurricane Katrina, all the NBA stars answered the call and donated funds and supplies valued at more than $1 million.
Here's the charity game they played also with a mix of it and the ingame contest between Arenas and Tmac.

Great game in HQ from a couple of days ago, nice teamwork from the Celtics. KG got a triple double, I didn't know he was an assist guy.

Lebron James & Kanye West @ SNL

Lebron James was the host of the 33rd season premiere of Saturday Night Live last weekend.
He plays in several sketches you can download below (5 out of the 7 he did), Kanye West did one also about him being a cry-baby when he doesn't get an award. I'm also adding Kanye's performances. Oh yeah, it has nothing to do with bball or hiphop but that music video with Iran's president was quite funny so I'm adding it too :p

2003 & 2004 HS All American Games

After counting the votes (and removing the few double votes ;) the 2004 game was in the lead with 1 vote ahead. Since there was no landslide, to avoid dissatisfaction I decided to upload both games.

For the moment the second half of the 2004 game is missing. I've tried 3 times to upload it but it failed every time :( I'll try again tomorrow.


Also, some have noticed that one of my filefront accounts (the one with the Rookies) has been shut down after few days only so grab these videos quickly as I don't know how long they will last.

Lebron High School Game

This was Lebron's first game on national TV so probably the first time the world could witness the potential of the most famous high school players in the country and see if he could live up to the hype. Lebron and his team, St Vincent St Mary, faced the #1 high school in the US, Oak Hill (Melo's former high school).
The two teams met twice already and Lebron scored 30+ each time but didn't win.

Players' Workout

I know I posted the TMac summer workout before but I wasn't sure about the Lebron one so I'm upping these two again. This might give you some ideas for new exercices for your own training like the one where a guy holds you back with an elastic band which must be interesting to try and probably efficient too. I'm adding a Kobe video as well where you see him messing with iron this summer right before the Americas Championships.
